Our youth meeting next week will cover Romans 9, especially vs. 10-24. It would be great to read the whole chapter to get the context, but focus especially on vs. 10-24. We will be discussing these verses as they relate to building our theology from what God’s considers most glorious about himself.

The recent few weeks of youth group have been rather deep, as we’ve been looking into the question, “Does your theology matter?” if you are to be an imitator of God. I’m curious if you guys would post some of your (summary) thoughts for the benefit of all, as some of the material has been difficult to digest. In other words, in your point of view, what are some of the important highlights of the past four weeks’ discussion?

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped with the VBS. I know some of the kids were patients trying, and there was a lot going on, (Jerrys move, camp, sports stuff, etc…) but as always you guys (and gals) came through and did a wonderful job! You may never know the impact you had on those kids lives, but I assure you that you did make an eternal impact. I pray God would bless you for your patients, kindness and self sacrifices. BUD

My dear Bagginses and Boffins, Tooks and Brandybucks, Grubbs, Chubbs, Hornblowers, Bolgers, Bracegirdles and Proudfoots.Alas, twenty one years is far too short a time to live among such excellent and admirable youths. I don’t know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.I regret to announce — this is The End. I am going now. I bid you all a very fond farewell.”
Im off to
Nebraska and my email and phone are going to be dead in the water, so I probably wont hear from any of you or be heard of till boot camp, as I will be getting back the day that it starts.
Stay out of trouble, listen to your parents, and while doing those have a GREAT time!
See yall later.
~
